The case of wheat in Rwanda
1、 Background of customer drying demand
Rwanda’s agricultural cooperatives have long been limited by traditional soil stove drying and outdoor drying processes: ① serious production capacity shortage: more than 50 tons of wheat are lost per month during the rainy season, and the delivery delay rate of orders reaches 40%; ② High cost: relying on diesel fuel (local oil price of ¥ 12/L), the production cost accounts for up to 35%;
③ Unstable quality: The rate of moisture and mold growth is as high as 15%, making it difficult to pass the EU grain import quality inspection; ④ Policy restrictions: Rwanda prohibits the import of coal-fired equipment, and the dual-use plan of coal and diesel has become a necessity.
2、 Customized Design Scheme for Jinlu
Based on customer needs and the characteristics of the African market, the Jinlu team optimizes the design from three aspects: energy adaptability, flexible deployment, and cost control
① Dual energy flexible switching: The main fuel uses locally inexpensive biomass pellets (sawdust, straw) with a calorific value of ≥ 3500kcal/kg; The backup diesel system responds to the risk of fuel shortage and reduces dependence on imported energy Mobile container structure: 6m × 2.5m expandable box body+tire chassis, capable of completing migration deployment in 4 hours per person, suitable for decentralized agricultural operations Accurate temperature and humidity control: intelligent PID segmented temperature regulation (20 ℃ -80 ℃)+slow drying chamber design, balancing drying efficiency and grain integrity, ensuring moisture content ≤ 13% and crushing rate ＜ 2% Environmental compliance: Multi layer dust removal filtration (PM2.5 ≤ 35mg/m ³)+EU CE certification, meeting Rwanda’s agricultural machinery safety standards.
3、 Customer review
After the equipment was put into operation, customer feedback significantly improved production efficiency and product competitiveness: James Kibagabaga, Chairman of the Cooperative, said, “This dryer has completely changed our production mode! It is easy to move, fuel is cheap, and the quality of the dried wheat meets EU standards. This year, 2000 tons have been exported to the Netherlands！”
