Customized tomato heat pump belt dryer

With the expansion of their business, they are facing problems such as low efficiency of traditional natural drying, weather constraints, and unstable product quality, and urgently need efficient and environmentally friendly large-scale dehydration solutions. According to the customer’s requirements, Jinlu Machinery has tailored a fully automatic air source heat pump mesh belt drying production line for the customer, and equipped it with salt pretreatment equipment to achieve full process optimization from raw materials to finished products:

① Core equipment configuration: 5-layer mesh belt heat pump dryer (7m × 2m)

Adopting a five layer three-dimensional mesh belt structure, the single processing capacity reaches 7000 kilograms, and the drying efficiency is 60% higher than traditional equipment;

Air source heat pump technology, COP value ≥ 4.0, energy consumption is only 25% of electric heating, in line with EU energy efficiency standards;

Intelligent PID temperature control system (± 2 ℃ accuracy), supporting segmented temperature and humidity control, accurately matching tomato dehydration curve;

Stainless steel mesh belt material, certified for HACCP food safety.

② Salinization pretreatment system

Customized salting machine achieves rapid surface coating of tomatoes, effectively locking in juice and reducing oxidation rate by more than 30%; Automated saltwater ratio and circulation module, reducing raw material loss, improving finished product color and rehydration properties. 

③ Implementation effect

Efficiency leap: The drying cycle has been shortened from the traditional 5-7 days of air drying to 6 hours, increasing production capacity by 4 times;

Quality upgrade: The moisture content of the finished product remains stable at ≤ 12%, with a bright color (Δ E<1.5) and a Vc retention rate of 90%;

Environmental compliance: zero wastewater discharge, in compliance with EU REACH regulations and carbon reduction requirements.
